A Smidge of an Update

August 7th, 2012 |

Hello, hello! Wow, it’s been a bit since I’ve blogged :S I really didn’t have anything substantial enough to be blog worthy, and I couldn’t update about things I’ve added, like resources, because I haven’t worked on any new ones. A good note about my resources though: total they’ve been downloaded 177 times! I’m so excited about this.
Most of the downloads are on my deviantART page, but how cool that people are actually liking them enough! Like I’ve said before, I’ve always wanted to offer resources, and now that I am, I’m wondering why it took me so long to get my butt in the game! xD

For the past month, I’ve been taking an Intercultural Communication summer course at the college I attend. Tomorrow will be the last class, and I’m so glad to be done with it. Surprisingly, it was a lot more fun and a lot easier than what I was expecting. One thing the teacher had us do was interview someone who was culturally different from us — this would be age, nationality, profession, etc. I met up with a coworker of mine, who is 59, for lunch to do my interview. We had so much fun enjoying the food and talking! :) So much, in fact, we decided we’ll get together again, and invite other coworkers with us. I was really surprised with how much we were able to talk about. Have you ever been surprised by how much you connected with someone different from you?

My aunt emailed me a few days ago, letting me know she had an HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One Multifunction Printer‏ that she didn’t use. She offered to let me take it off her hands for free, so of course I did! The printer I have now (another HP All-in-one model) works terribly with my laptop. Anytime I want to use it, I have to reinstall the printer and drivers. I just don’t have that kind of time! I was planning on buying a Canon all-in-one printer, but we’ll see how this other HP ones works for me. It has very mixed reviews, but it was free. Do you have a printer? What brand, and how does it work for you?

Right now, while I’m blogging and waiting for my laundry to finish, I’m using Crest 3D White Whitestrips with Advanced Seal, 2 Hour Express. Just for fun… I don’t usually pay attention to my teeth because they’re white already :3 I’ve had them on for an hour now and my teeth are hurting :( Has anyone else used white strips and had pain in your teeth? I’m sure this happens, but I wasn’t expecting it.

Alright, that was all I needed to update about for now :/ Check back soon though — I plan on adding more brushes :D

Stopping by to leave you some love. Also, I’ve noticed you have my old link up in your affiliates. Could you please update your link to http://myviolentheart.org? Thank you!

It’s always great when people like and use your stuff!

I’ve never used those exact kinds of strips but I’ve experienced pain with them. They’d make my teeth hurt and really sensitive. I quit using them after the first time, so complete waste of money.

Intercultural Communication sounds fun :) How I wish we have that here too lol

I wanted to get a printer but since I no longer go to school and I have no one around to be using it I might aswell just pass on it for now.

I only used the strip twice when my boyfriend wanted to experiment if it’s really working and make me put it on my teeth. and I yeah, I kinda felt a lil pain but not like really really pain. when I took it off it feels awesome not because my teeth becomes whiter but because it is so irritating to be having something on your teeth and it feels like the teeth are pretty much isolated (lol)
